Calibers Shooters Sports Center is proud to introduce our Ladies Only: Introduction to Handguns series of courses! Over two days, ladies will participate in both of our Introduction to Handguns courses led by our NRA certified instructor Lindsey Fassler:

Day One – Introduction the Handguns: The Basics

• New Mexico gun laws
• Firearm safety
• Handgun parts & nomenclature
• Basic handgun operation
• Basics of ammunition
• Proper handling, loading & unloading
• How to select a handgun
• Handgun maintenance

Day Two – Introduction to Handguns: Marksmanship Fundamentals

Students will review firearms safety, then learn

• Range safety
• Range etiquette
• Fundamentals of handgun marksmanship
• Apply what has been learned in a live fire range setting

Rental firearms are available for students who do not own one. Rentals are $10, plus the cost of ammunition. Each student will need between 50 and 100 rounds of ammunition.

We are proud to present our first female instructor Lindsey Fassler! Lindsey is an NRA certified Handgun and Personal Protection in the Home instructor.

DISCLAIMER:
*Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: We require 1 week notice in the event that you cannot make a course. Students who cancel within 1 week of the course will forfeit their course fee. In the event of a medical or other emergency, we will waive the cancellation fees but we will require satisfactory documentation of said emergency. Students are allowed a maximum of 2 reschedules after which they will be charged a $25 administrative fee.
